Thanks for taking the time to visit the offical web site of Paul Ward.
Paul Ward's name is familiar to many people for many reasons. Originally one half of the 80's synth duo Quiet Point he went on to record music under his own name and work closely with artists such as John Parr, Wavestar, John Dyson, Kik, Tastebuds and Hyper Snyper to name but a few. Not only this, but he has become a trusted name in the field of hi-tech journalism, writing innumerable reviews of musical equipment and software as well as conducting fascinating interviews with many artists, including such famous names as Rick Wakeman and Steve Hackett.
Albums such as 'Beyond the Quiet Point', 'For a Knave' (which gave us the idea for this web site's URL!) and 'The Fear of Make-Believe' established Paul as a major player in the field of electronic music. Since his last CD Paul has been kept very busy recording and producing music for a vast catalogue of uses, including TV, stage and theatre. His grasp of the intricacies of analogue and digital production techniques has earned him an enviable reputation as a sound engineer and he has been sought out by many artists to provide input to their work. Recent credits include work for with The Bailey Brothers, Singlecut, Gloria Jean, Reminiscence, Martin Harrison and John Parr. Work is already in the pipeline for Shaun Finnie and Paul tells us of a 'major project' of his own!
This is Paul's official web site and from this point will begin to hold information about Paul's past, current and future work, and also provide links to his work, both old and new.
